Note:

XML file containing database errors must be created previously before starting Navigator tool. This can be done e.g., by means of Script editor using AddItemToNavigatorXML function (see Field-Map Scripting Help for details).


By default, navigator files are stored in MISC\Navigatorcontent.xml file. See point 5,6 (picture).


You can use also keyboard arrows to browse Navigator entries.
  1. Switch to the Plots tab
  2. Click the Show Navigator button



  1. Navigator appears
  2. Click Load from file button




Example


  1. Browse directories to XML file and choose desired file. In this case is chosen the file "dbh_range_300_400_mm.xml" in currently opened project.

Note: This file shows records of tree layer with dbh within 300 - 400 mm.


  1. Click OK



Note: SQL query the file "dbh_range_300_400_mm.xml" in Database query tool


  1. Records with dbh within 300 - 400 mm appears in Navigator



  1. By clicking on the entry in Navigator, Field-Map Data Collector automatically switches to appropriate tab and entry (record)
