Paste current position option

To add your current position to the map as a point, follow the same approach as Adding point by co-ordinates, but instead of entering X,Y,Z values switch to Carthesian co-ordinates and click the Paste current position button. This will add a point at the operator position blue square with a central point.


       

New point appears in operator’s position.
  1. Double click the point layer to make it active
  2. Click on the Tools button



  1. Select the Add Point by Co-ordinates menu item



  1. Select type of input co-ordinates
  2. Use Settings for unit type selection (valid for Polar co-ordinates)
  3. Type co-ordinate into edit boxes
  4. Click OK



  1. A new point appears in the map
