Attach point/trees to transformed line

This function is useful especially when measuring long distances. It shifts points/trees according to the transformed line and spreads errors out. Data are saved into a new “MeasurementLog” table.

Run the Close a traverse function- see previous chapter

  1. Choose the point layer that you want to attach from a list of available layers
  2. Optionally tag Pre-select using line buffer and set the size of buffer for limit points round line
  3. Click Refresh selection button to show included points
  4. Choose Transformation type

a) Close traverse - skip to step 7

b) Adjust traverse in Transformation section

5.    b)  Select Reference layer

6.    b)  Select final point for adjustment



  1. Click Show transformation to shift points positions
  2. Click OK. Result has been showed in map
