Automatic positioning to new point of line

If this function is checked in Settings, Field-Map moves the position automatically to new point of a line (principle of forward positioning). This function is useful by parallel mapping line and points, trees, polygons around.



The function is active with measurement devices only, not with pen mapping. It cannot be used with angle encoder.
  1. Make sure that the line layer is active
  2. Click the Start new line from current position button - first point of line is added in the current position



  1. Measure the second point of a line



  1. The line appears on the map and your position is moved - after measurement of next point your position moves again
