Move/Copy line(s) to another layer

This function moves or copies selected line(s) to another layer. This may be helpful when creating polygons and some of the lines prevent building polygons. If there are corresponding attribute names in the original and the target layers, values are saved too.
  1. Double click the line layer to make it active
  2. Select the line you want to move
  3. Click the Tools button



  1. Select the Move or copy line(s) to layer item 

Move or copy line(s) to layer windows appears



  1. Choose the target layer
  2. Choose whether to copy (tag) line or move (untag) the line to target layer. 
  3. Click OK



  1. The line is moved to another layer
