DBH distribution and DBH-H relation

One of the quick and effective tools for data verification is validating DBH distribution and DBH-H relations for the plot. You can view the information by individual species or for all species using DBH distribution and DBH-H relation graphs. These graphs help you to identify mistakes in DBH or height measurements and provide the necessary information for measuring directly on the plot.


Note:

In case of repeated measurement, previous and new measurement is marked using different symbol in the height diagram (old measurement – cross; new measurement: point)

Before checking this relation, measure all tree positions, heights and download DBH information.

  1. Switch to the Trees form
  2. Click on the DBH-H tab



  1. Review the DBH distribution graph
  2. Review the DBH-H relation graph for all species



  1. Click the species name on the right-side list to obtain basic statistical information about species
  2. Check the DBH-H graph for selected species
