Opening Field-Map Data Collector
Field-Map creates fully customized forms for a particular project. For this reason the project has to be chosen during Field-Map Data Collector start up and it is not possible to open Field-Map Data Collector without a project. To open a different project it is necessary to close and restart Field-Map.
Support of small screens with high resolution
As the computer technology advances there are devices available whose dimensions of screen are close to PDA computers but which are equipped with Windows operating system for personal computers. You can run Field-Map smoothly on such devices even if their screen support high resolution. Simply increase the value of DPI in Windows system (advanced screen settings) and Field-Map will automatically adjust all controls, letters and buttons and keep them fully accessible.
You can adjust screen for finger control for better using personal tablets.
