Stretching transect line

When you measure a transect in the field it is not always possible to establish a straight line. You can fix this by pressing the “Stretch line” button. Field-Map uses measured points on transect line and moves them (changes their x and y co-ordinates) to a new position. Z co-ordinates are not changed.
  1. First measure the transect line on the Map form

  1. Switch to Transect form
  2. Select the transect you want to stretch
  3. Click Stretch line button



  1. Confirmation message “Stretch transect line?” appears
  2. Click Yes button



  1. Switch to the Map form and check the result
