Adding records

Please, be aware of the difference between the “attributes of data layer” and the “attributes of map layer”. Attributes of the map layer are always related to geographically defined features in the map, whereas attributes of the data layer have no geographic reference. Consequently, to add a record to the map layer you first need to add a geographic feature (point, line, etc.) to the map. Otherwise a warning message pops up.

Date attribute

Date can be filled in automatically by double clicking in Date edit box

1. Click the add record button in the relevant column

2. A new blank row is added

3. Fill attributes
4. Click the post edit button

The record is added and saved in the database
