Calculate missing crown width

This action is used to calculate crown width. Input data for model parameterization are measured horizontal crown projection or crown width and breast height diameter. Modeled crown width can be later used for calculation of tree biomass.


Calculate tree layers (1/3HD)

This action is used to automatically distribute all trees into three layers.

Order of enumeration:

• Stand height is set as a mean height of 100 most thick trees

• Stand height is split into three parts

• All trees are classified based on in which part belongs its height. Results are written into a new attribute.


Calculate missing upper diameters

This action is used to calculate missing stem upper diameter. Input data for model parameterization are measured upper diameters and breast height diameter. Modelled upper diameters can be later used to increase precision of tree volume/biomass calculation.
