Editing background map composition > Opening the “Editing background map composition” window

Background map composition

From within Field-Map Project Manager you can define the composition of digital maps (raster plus superimposed vector layers). This composition may be saved and later opened in Field-Map Data Collector to provide better orientation.


Filename extension of the map composition file is “mmc“.
  1. Select the menu item Tools > Edit Background Map Composition.



  1. A new window “Edit Background Map Composition” appears.
