7.3 Adding vector layer

Order of Layers

A map composition may consist of several layers. Their order is defined according to the order they are loaded to the map composition. Use the red arrows next to the list of layers to reorder those layers.

1. Click the Add Layer button.

2. In the file browser select the file name of your layer and click Open.

3. The layer opens in a separate window.

4. Make necessary edits to the layer (see editing layer).
5. Click OK to add the layer to the composition.
