To combine all lines of specific layer, clear the selection before running "Combine lines" function.
  1. Make sure that the line layer is active
  2. Select lines which you want to have merged. Ending point of one line must be covered by the first point of the second line.
  3. Click Tools button



  1. Click Combine Line(s) item



Combine Line(s) window appears


  1. Set whether to combine all lines touching their ends or only those which have the same value of specified attribute 
  2. Choose attribute based on which value will be lines merged (source line with the same value of tagged attribute will be connected). If you tag more than one attribute, only those source lines with same combination of attributes will be merged.
  3. Define the rule for filling values of untagged attributes for newly formed lines
  4. Click Analyze button
  5. Report indicating the number of source lines and combined lines appears 
  6. Click OK
