Grid parameters

In the Create grid dialog box you can choose a Grid offset and rotation as well as whether both vertical and horizontal lines should be created.



The result of settings above


Button Paste from selected line enables you to rotate the future grid by the selected line. The coordinates of a grid origin can be defined according with the current position, a selected point or using the keyboard.
  1. Double click the line layer to make it active
  2. Click the Tools button



  1. Choose Create grid menu item



  1. Type the grid size into the Grid size edit box
  2. Click OK



  1. Lines appear on the map
