Cutting lines

The new lines take all attributes from the parent line except of the length.
  1. Make sure that the line layer is active
  2. Select the line you want to cut into two pieces
  3. Click the Cut line button (the cursor has changed to the cross)
  4. Click the line where you want it to be split



  1. The line has been divided on two parts



  1. The part from the beginning of the line to the new node becomes a separate line with a separate record in the database
