Starting new line from current position is especially advantageous during measurement of traverse polygon using automatic positioning to new point of line.
  1. Make sure that the line layer is active
  2. Click the Start new line from current position button - first point of line is added in the current position



  1. Add a second point of line

A line appears on the map

  1. Add consecutive vertices of line until the end
  2. Cancel measurement
