Reloading DBH information

When you send data from the calliper to the computer for the first time, the column identifiers are not set yet. At this point the information is not stored, because Field-Map does not know how to decode it. It is just the preview of the structure of the data. It is necessary to reload the data from the calliper again after the decoding parameters are set. Alternatively the data can be downloaded from a text file.

Make sure you have measured the positions of trees

  1. Switch to the Trees form
  2. Click the Calliper button



  1. Click the Read data from file button



  1. Browse for the file and open it



  1. Data appears in the left down window as a text file
  2. Set the parameters for reading from the text file. The numbers represent columns
  3. Open the file again (click the Read data from file button and open the file again)

Tree ID, DBH and Species appear in the right column

  1. Click OK



  1. Data is loaded to the project database
