“Smooth contour line” function

Field-Map visualizes horizontal crown projection in two modes:

Without smoothing

the shape is projected in straight lines

Optimalized view

the shape is projected using a smoothing function Tag or untag “Smooth contour line” check box to set the mode.

When the smoothing mode is combined with the “Refresh all projections” option, then the mode is applied to all trees.
  1. Switch to the trees form
  2. Select a tree
  3. Click on the Crown projection tab



  1. Click the Add point button
  2. In the view click on the spot where you want to add the point



  1. A point appears in the map
