Saving of transect data

Data of a transect could be saved also as a .txt file. The structure of the file consists of:

  • ID of point on the transect
  • Distance of the point on transect line (counted distance, e.g. not stright distance)
  • Z, X, Y co-ordinates of the point


Both .wmf file and transect data can be copied to a clipboard.


Data is saved in .txt file.
  1. Switch to the Transect form
  2. Click Export data  



  1. Select Export Data to File …



  1. Save dialog window appears 

Browse for the destination on your harddrive and type the name of the .txt file

  1. Click Save
