Saving of transect data

Data of a transect could be saved also as a .txt file. The structure of the file consists of:

  • ID of point on the transect
  • Distance of the point on transect line (counted distance, e.g. not straight distance)
  • Z, X, Y co-ordinates of the point



Either .wmf file or transect data can be copied to a clipboard.
  1. Switch to the Transect form
  2. Click Export data 



  1. Select Export Picture to Metafile …



  1. Preview Transect Metafile window appears
  2. Set the width of guidelines in Line width edit box
  3. Click Save to file 



  1. Browse for the destination on your harddrive and type the name of the .wmf file
  2. Click Save



  1. Click Close button. The picture has been saved
