While ‘consider m. declination in mapping’ option is checked and the value of magnetic declination is empty the Field-Map does not allow you to close the settings dialog by clicking OK button.


       




If you create a new plot the value of magnetic declination is cleared and the settings dialog is automatically open. If you close it by clicking Cancel button without setting the magnetic declination and ‘consider m. declination in mapping’ option is checked then on first attempt to map the dialog appears asking you to confirm magnetic declination.




Field in the settings dialog is connected to the atributte “Magnetic_decl_deg” in the plot layer.
