Reverse line

Field-map stores line topology as string expression of coordinates of points. Use this function to switch the orientation of line, i.e., if the line consists of n points, to switch position of  1st and (n)th, 2nd and (n-1)th, ... point in line expression.


This function can be useful e.g., before running Adjusting of line to specify which terminal point of line should be aligned with reference point (see pictures on the right).
  1. Make sure that the line layer is active
  2. Select a line which orientation should be reversed
  3. Open Tools


  1. Click Reverse line item. Line orientation becomes reversed.



Note: Always the last point of the line is adjusted.
