Slanted trees

When you measure a slanted tree, using mode Main Pole below Slant Tree Top, after measuring the distance to the tree and top of the tree send your pole-person under the top of the tree and measure this point. There is no need to stand in perpendicular position to the tree bent direction.

Before measuring the slant of the tree you have to measure its height

  1. Take your position anywhere you can see the top of the tree



  1. Switch to the Trees form
  2. Click Mode button
  3. Select Main Pole below Slant Tree Top mode



  1. Select the tree Notice that in this moment “Height” and “Tree length” are the same
  2. Click Slant tree button

Place the pole below tree top and measure its position



  1. “Tree length” now differs from “Height”
