1. The Navigator displaying the whole plot is particularly useful on large plots. The rectangle marks the area currently zoomed in on the map.
  2. Geographic entities are displayed on the map.
  3. Scale bar changes according to the current scale of the map.
  4. Local or global co-ordinates. Polar co-ordinates can be viewed in case of a circular plot based on local co-ordinates. 
  5. Each of the user defined map layers has its own tab. By clicking a particular tab you can switch to the form of layer attributes.
  6. Clicking the Background map button opens the Background map menu. 
  7. Use the arrows to change the order of map layers - last layer in the list is at the top of map.
  8. A List of map layers is used for selecting appropriate layer.
  9. Zoom slider - click and drag the slider for convenient zooming of map extent. Upper limit is set to the extent of whole plot and lower limit more than 1:1 - you are still able to zoom more with other methods.


       


The Horizontal toolbar contains buttons for editing entities.

Ordering of map layers corespondent to ordering of layers in Field-Map Project Manager. Ordering of map layers can be change directly in Field-Map Data Collector and become independent on data form ordering.
