Adding lines

To add a line with multiple segments, tag the “Measure series of points” check box in Settings.



After adding a second point to the line (and optionally confirming ID of the line) you can continue adding nodes to the line.



To finish the line: double click when adding the last node or click the “Add new line” button again and confirm the message.



Refreshing map

Click the scale bar to refresh the map.



Show measurement assistant

You can tag the “Show measurement assistant” in Settings to show measurement assistant when you measure



Example measurement assistant when measuring a line:



Note: Line can be added by either laser, GPS, pen or keyboard.
  1. Make sure that the line layer is active and no line or line point is selected
  2. Click the Add line button
  3. Add the first point of the line (see “Adding point”)

At the place of the first point of the line Field-Map shows “Selected point” symbol. This enables visual monitoring of the future line.

A line appears on the map



  1. Add consecutive vertices of line until the end
  2. Cancel measurement
