4.10 Adding a new lookup list attribute
Working with layer attributes > Adding a new lookup list attribute

It is a good practice to use prefixes when naming lookup lists. The reason is to distinguish lookup lists from tables with data. It is not obligatory to put the prefix before the name of the lookup list, but it is helpful. It is also very helpful to use an attribute name as a base for the name of associated lookup list (e.g., attribute name Species, lookup list name qSpecies). We suggest using letters that words do not usually start with (e.g., “x” or “q”). |
