For this example we have decided to collect the data about bark beetle damage. This damage is possible for Norway spruce species only.

First, choose a value for the Species attribute. This attribute is an ordinary lookup list and therefore any item may be chosen.
After the Species attribute is assigned with a value you may choose a value for the damage attribute. The subset of eligible values differs according to the value chosen for the Species attribute.
In case of just one option, the only option is filled in automatically.
