Use the Attribute name as a database name, the Attribute label for labeling controls in Data Collector, the Attribute labels (2) (and 3) can be used for detailed or abbreviated labels with nation specific characters, equivalents in other languages and so on. Attribute name: This is a database name. This name represents the attribute in the database. No special characters (?, *, &, $, …) nor spaces are allowed. Attribute label: Allows special characters. Field-Map Data Collector uses the label to display controls. When “Label” is not specified, then the “Attribute name” is used for labeling. Data Collector can be translated this way into other languages, allows to set up abbreviations for field data collection with limited screen size, etc. Attribute label (2), Attribute label (3) Other possibilities for labeling, translating into other languages and so on. There is always a possibility of switching among any variant of Attribute labels. |
