Adding a parameterized point to a line

This option allows you to add a line using a keyboard by typing the length of the line segment and its relative angle. It can be useful when you need to establish a virtual plot of a specific shape (e.g., triangle or L-shape).


       



Checking line geometry

You can check and correct line geometry in separate window.
  1. Double click a line or polygon layer to make it active
  2. Select the line which you want to edit
  3. Select one of the end points
  4. Click the Tools button



  1. Click the Add Parameterized Point to Line option



  1. Type the Angle
  2. Type the Distance
  3. Click OK



  1. The point is added to the selected line
