19.12 Changing ID

Warning:

Do not try to alter IDs directly in the datatables, always use this function to change an ID. Field-Map uses an internal system of inheriting IDs and any encroachment can destroy the whole database.

Click the right mouse button in the appropriate column
Select the menu item Change ID

Change ID window appears

Enter the new ID
Click OK

Important: This function serves only for changing ID of data record. If you want to change ID of geographical object, select it in map window, click Tools button and Change ID item.
