4.14 Local lookup list versus Repository
Working with layer attributes > Local lookup list versus Repository
Data source tables for local lookup lists are stored in your Project folder. These lookup lists are “project dependable”. This means that when you copy the Project folder, the lookup lists are also copied. However, they are not accessible in other projects unless you copy (import) them to Repository.

- You can copy local lookup lists to and from repository.

Repository represents a folder in a computer created at the time of installation (C:\ Documents and Settings\All Users\FieldMap for Win XP and C:\Users\Public\FieldMap for Win 7 and Vista) where lookup lists can be stored and then accessed by any Field-Map project when creating a new lookup list attribute in Field-Map Project Manager.
