5.11 Backup database

Backup Database

It is recommended to backup your project using the Backup Database function.

A backup file is created and stored in a newly created “Backup_ProjectName” folder in the same parent folder where the Field-Map project folder is located.

The created backup file has the following format: “NameProject_YearMonthDayHourMinutecompressed_Keyword.zip”.

1. Select the menu item Tools > Backup Database.

2. A confirmation box appears.
3. Fill the keyword, which will become a part of a backup file name (optional).
4. Click the Yes button to backup the database.
