8.5 Save system tables

Field-Map options > Save system tables

System tables

System tables provide you with information on structure of layers and attributes used in your project with their definitions.
  1. Select the menu Options
  2. Select Save System Tables item
  3. Compile project



  1. Open FieldMapData_NameOfYourProject.FDB file


Note: The best is to use FirebirdDesktop.EXE to browse FDB databases. 

Field-Map has its own "Field-Map Tool"  you can easily use to "Open with...".


  1. Select tables SYSTAB_ATTRIBUTES and SYSTAB_LAYERS
  2. You can browse content of selected tables
