Field-Map Project Manager includes a set of data processing tools that provides user with easy handling and processing of the databases of field data.

Data processing tools cover the following tasks:

• Aggregation: This tool aggregates data of specific data layers and stores the results in the parent layer; e.g., summarization of deadwood logs within a plot, calculation of mean log volume, etc.
• Classification: Use this tool to classify measurement data into classes; e.g., age to age classes, tree diameter into diameter classes, etc.
• Re-classification: This tool enables re-grouping of classified data; e.g., tree species into species groups, etc.
• SQL update: It is possible to use SQL commands to create and calculate derived variables. Use this tool for example for complex tasks which exceed the possibilities of classification, re-classification and aggregation.
