In order to measure all entities you have to be able to see them. There are entities in the plot that you may not be able to see from the plot center. Therefore you will need to change your position, but at the same time keep spatial reference. In other words you always have to know where you are in terms of co-ordinates. In order to move “your position” in the map use Positioning.


You can get your position by locating any established “reference point”. 


For measuring large plots it is usually necessary to establish several reference points. These points help you keep spatial reference anywhere on the plot.
